All employees are equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and on our job sites. Metercor provides all employees with the training and resources necessary to meet their safety responsibilities. Safe work practices and procedures are clearly defined within our Health and Safety manuals for all employees to follow.
All management activities will comply with Metercor safety requirements as they relate to the planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees will perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices. Responsibility and accountability roles for managers, supervisors and workers can be found in Metercor’s Health and Safety manual.
Accidental loss can be controlled through good management, in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all owners, managers, supervisors and workers.
Our safety system is compliant with annual audit requirements, and presents Metercor with the opportunity to continuously improve. Employees injured on the job are to follow Metercor’s procedures as outlined in the Employee training and safety manuals, which includes modified duties and rehabilitation practices.
